Brockwood Park is the location for Sheffield City Council's Workforce Development Unit For Social Care.
This blog is intended to further our Social Media involvement.
We hope it will become a resource for our staff (and anyone else) to understand and utilise Social Media in a training and development setting.
Hi , If you have any questions in relation to food hygiene or manual handling this blog is the ideal place to ask them. Please ues this blog we want your opinions. Peter
Hi Peter, Here's geoff trying to post a comment with out logging in. It won't do it I'm now logged in with my other ID. So we've found something out - You can't post comments without creating some sort of ID.
Peter and I had another early morning session and we went through all the settings for the blog. Decisions were made and stuff was learnt. We used the statements we've made so far to guide us.
For example there's a setting to decide whether anyone can post. We did say that this blog was for "anyone". So, although we are apprehensive about letting everyone in. thats how it's set.
There's another setting that decides whether comments are posted immedeately or require moderating first. We decided that we should moderate all comments. This should prevent the unwanted (who are included in the anyone setting above) bothering us.
All the other decisions are recorded in the 'Settings' tab in the 'Dashboard'. I'll try to get a default set and document what (and why) we changed. Geoff

Or maybe it's a setting in the blog somewhere?
